Full-time Game Designer

at Simsoft Information Technologies in Ankara

Responsibilities:

- Be a strong partner of our team and take responsibility to create top-notch mobile games
- Work with designers, developers and artist to design and develop new features and systems
- Act as a product owner and create the vision for game play and entertainment
- Monitor game performance, forum and customer comments for continuous improvement
- Analyze real-time feedback and metrics and adjust game design accordingly
- Provides leadership on market trends, patterns and customer requirements. - Attends trade shows and seminars to maintain and improve knowledge
- Model, implement, and tune level pacing, game economy and scoring systems
- Ensure product conforms to expectations in terms of entertainment, pacing, and overall fun factor

Requirements:

- BS in Computer Science, Art, Mathematics, or a related field
- Team leadership experience with a team of both artistic and technical people
- Experience designing UX and features for gamers
- Experience designing and tuning game economies, resource management systems, and scoring curves
- Expert with math and formulas relevant to game systems modeling and tuning
- Strong knowledge of game balancing and pacing
- High level of experience with Excel spreadsheets
- Working knowledge of database tools is a plus
- Advanced English knowledge
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Remain organized
- Be able to think independently
- Be able to operate with minimal supervision
- Ability to analyze existing competitors thoroughly
